First up, on Wednesday, April 3, the Confucius Institute and Lubin’s Center for Global Business Programs present The Future of the Chinese Financial Markets with author Michael A. Santoro, PhD, JD, at 3:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room on the NYC Campus.

A world renowned business ethics teacher, scholar, and consultant, Santoro’s areas of expertise are business ethics on Wall Street, pharmaceutical industry ethics, and corporate social responsibility in China. He is the author of China 2020: How Western Business Can—and Should—Influence Social and Political Change, and his latest book (co-written with Ronald J. Strauss) is Wall Street Values: Business Ethics and the Global Financial Crisis.

Then, on Thursday, April 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Lubin and the U.S. Commercial Service Department of Commerce invite you to learn about the opportunities and challenges of doing business in North Africa from experts at Doing Business in Africa:  Focus on Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria in Lecture Hall West in One Pace Plaza.

Hear from the U.S. Senior Commercial Counselor, Jane Kitson, who lives in Morocco and covers the three countries, and Sophien Bennaceur, President, U.S. Tunisian Business Council. The program will be moderated Tanya Cole, U.S. Commercial Officer, Department of Commerce Foreign Commercial Service.

Learn from the experts about the growth and trends in North Africa and where to look for opportunities in safety and security, environmental equipment, renewable energy technology, aviation parts, waste water and water treatment, and agricultural services and equipment.  There will be a panel discussion and Q&A.
